Strip club customers drugged and robbed of over $1m from credit cards

No, not in Canada, but in the Phoenix area.

Widely reported in Phoenix media:
Drugged customers, charged credit cards for $1 million
A class action lawsuit has been filed against multiple companies that are the owners of Skin Cabaret, Bones Cabaret, and Dream Palace in Scottsdale and Tempe. These three establishments are known as “sister clubs” and are situated along Scottsdale Road.

According to court papers, the businesses were responsible for a plan in which customers were given drugs, followed by the theft of their wallets and cell phones. The lawsuit stated that while the victims were unconscious, pictures were taken of them and their signatures were fraudulently used to make charges on their credit cards.

Nearly 20 alleged victims are suing these clubs. The complaint accuses ownership of racketeering, conspiracy and several other allegations.and records show there are more people with similar experiences.

Good point; there are some or at least one woman named in the lawsuit. I think she was a manager. Hopefully, besides the civil suit, the police will eventually file criminal charges for any involved. There is an extensive police report.

BTW in TUSCL, which is a big strip club board, these 3 clubs are known to be ripoffs. VIP room dances have been reportedly starting at $800. But there are plenty of wealthy men in Scottsdale who would think nothing of dropping $1k at a club. I am not one of them! I do $20 dances at other clubs, which is also typical in Toronto, etc.

Was her stage name CardiB?
Sorry this is not funny but that was…..

I do feel bad for the victims though. No one deserves to be drugged and robbed. Take advantage of men and their vulnerability is just heartless. Society recognizes women’s vulnerability all the time and frown upon men’s vulnerabilities, because a lot of the times it involves sex, which is completely stigmatic and unfair.

Is no one charge criminally? These clubs should be shut down.

' On November 20, 2021, a different individual stated that he visited Bone Cabaret and acknowledged spending $170 for a personal room and $4,000 for dances. ...'

And for that money, he still didn't get any sex ... he got fucked but he didn't get any sex. US strip clubs are major rip off artists (usually voluntarily with customers). The girl pressures you to buy champagne and tells you that she can be much more free in the VIP but as Chris Rock states 'there is no sex in the VIP room'.

As a contrast we write threads on Terb complaining about water prices. 😋

Bottom line, if you go to strip clubs, pay cash.
