A busy downtown shopping strip is closed this weekend after a wall collapsed near Yonge and Gould Streets on Friday.
Bricks and debris still litter the area where the facade of a three-storey Gould Street building came down Friday during the lunch hour. No one was injured.
Demolition crews removed more of the crumpled facade Saturday, but police say it's going to take days to completely clean up the area.
Yonge Street remains closed from Edward Street to Elm Street. The Yonge Street closure could last until Monday, with Gould Street expected to be closed even longer than that.
More than 60 shops and restaurants are impacted by the closures.
