Hello Gentlemen

Was wondering if anyone has tried this?

Is it Possible?


What i want to do is say for example go to a radio stations website "listen Live"and record it...........can it be done?

Any programs out there? Anyone doing this.

Haven't tried it yet, but it looks interesting.

I'm using winamp v 5.08, and when playing streaming internet radio the playlist IDs the bitrate it is broadcasting on.

I don't know about recording but I listen to local radio all the time on my computer at work. Just go to the station website and click on listen. It's that simple.

One of my fav's here:

You can even run it in the background while doing other tasks such as I am right at this moment.

I am aware of this........what i want to do is be able to save it?

Personally I use a RadioShark.

I can record live radio or program my computer to record a program for me, much the same way one would program a VCR to record a TV show.

Once recorded I have a variety of semi-pro tools I use to edit things out like ads and music I don't really like. Then I cut the show to CD so I can listen in the car later on, or I pop it onto my iPod.

A friend of mine does it the old fashioned way - just uses the headphone jack on the computer.
