Heard the news and was completely shocked.

A great Canadian and even though I'm not a country music fan, Stompin Tom seemed to transcend the boundaries of the various musical genres and most of all, he made people smile and sing.

He was unique.

I knew his son. He was an arrogant ass. Not a fan of the music but he was a true Canadian. R.I.P Mr.Connors.

Much the same opinion. Knew of him away from the camera and behind stage and he was really hard on those around, partied hard and expected others to, BUT was an amazing entertainer and a Canadian Icon. He will be missed
