Was good time to invest last week. Could've had City Bank at 90 cents jumped to $3.00. RBC, BMO similar percentage. Ride the wave if you want but lay low

Think of it like buying anything else. Would you buy car if the price suddenly jumped?

Wait for pullbacks to buy if you want to get in, bail if goes past recent lows or your tolerance level for loss (which ever comes first).

The doctor is in
I bought in when the market was at 8000. I'm going to hold what I have for the long term, yet continue to buy so I can benefit from dollar cost averaging.

I don't think so, bt123.

That is a 333% jump in share price for CitiBank. I wish the Canadian banks were up 333%, I'd be dancing naked in the streets, if that were fact. The Canadian banks have moved in a positive direction in the last 2 weeks, but closer to a 25% gain for RBC, and about a 20% gain for BMO. Great returns for 10 business days, but hardly the same returns as CitiGroup.

You really believed him when he cannot spell CitiBank (which is one word with two "i"s)?
