Hey guys,
I’ve been thinking about starting my own agency recently, there seems to be so much money in this industry. I would say I’m a frugal man with my money but tend to spend a lot in this space.😂
I was thinking I should start out of a hotel but idk about the legal/licensing/tax implications.
Any comments/tips/suggestions/feedback are welcomed.
Thanks!

Many years ago I considered buying a small agency in a different part of the province that had only been around for about a year, had a lot of problems and a start-up owner who quickly grew tired of the business. I met with the guy. I could have afforded it (would have had to dip into investments to do it) but decided that aside from the challenge of trying to explain to my SO how it was that I was now the owner of an escort agency, re-branding it and just picking the thing up off the mat, recruiting new girls (because almost all of them had left) along with the general issue of running a business that kind of skirts around the edges of the law was more than I was willing to get into. It's not as easy as just starting up an agency and then raking in the money. Decided that I was happier as a client. Have never regretted giving up on an idea that - for me - was unworkable and foolish.

Don't I remember a couple of years ago a guy who had been a "client" decided to start up an agency (Friends With Benefits I believe it was called) and ... well ... it didn't go well.
I remember Friends With benefits. It was a new start up agency. They started a thread asking for suggestions which went on for pages. Then one day it fell apart a total disaster.

As I recall the owner (who always seemed a bit strange) kind of went a bit loopy (that's a technical term, I know) and Juno Grey (who had been one of their escorts and a recruiter as I recall) took over for a while, then she dropped it and Lacey Jade tried hard to keep it going for a while but finally gave up. They never were able to recruit many girls and never gained much of a foothold.
Yes, yes you are 100% correct. Now I recall every word you mentioned. Thanks

From what I hear, the girls don't show up, quit all the time, are late, on drugs.
You have to deal with bad clients who don't pay, abuse the girls, flake out on appointments.
You have to worry about being arrested and having your name in the newspaper, having a criminal record, etc.

If a girl lies about her age, and provides fake ID to you to show she is 18+, and the cops find out, you're in MAJOR trouble.

The intersection between you, the girls, and drugs is also a potential for violence and even murder.

All in all a bad idea for anyone who is not a slime ball or have too much to lose.
