The hygiene excuse is so played out. I'm leaning toward believing the OP. If guys are expected to ask the provider in a polite manner to freshen up when less than stellar, the provider should have the same expectation of herself.

I will always believer a reviewer over an SP. SP have financial incentive to perserve their reputation so they're automatically less credible than a reviewer. However if the SP is backed by other, more recent positive reviews then that makes the negative review less credible.

There's no recourse for us if we don't get the services stated so its totally unfair if we don't get them. The hygene reason isnt valid unless your venue has no shower imo or if the client is clearly very unhygenic (like clothes dirty, and you can smell them across the room)
