It's almost 4 pm. Anyone know how busy Square One is/has been today? I'm going to go over but if it's crazy busy right now, I'll wait until later on tonight.

I think it closes at 9:30. Can anyone confirm?

From SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2nd to and including SATURDAY, DECEMBER 23rd the Shopping Centre will be open from:

MONDAY TO SATURDAY - 9:30 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.
SUNDAYS - 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Mall Closed

Yeah, that's where I got the 9:30 from. But I've heard other people saying it's open until 10.

But the real question is, how busy is it today?!?

Well expect it closes at 9:30pm and if it stays open till 10 pm, think of it as a bonus. Any mall will be beyond crazy this time of year no matter what day and time. Go in with a plan. Know which stores you want to go in, have your shopping list and expect to be walking a bit to get in the mall. The mall's website has a list of shops as well as a map you can download to help out. I personally take the time to search the websites of the stores for items and call ahead for them. Then you just walk in and buy.

I haven't been to a mall at christmas for years (not that many presents to buy) but it has always been reccommended that you go around dinner time...there's a lull then as everyone's eating....

The worst is Yorkdale. Takes you like 45 minutes to exit the damn mall.
Oh well, with one week left to Christmas what can you do?

Same here. Parking was not a problem, although you had to park further back. The mall was busy, but not a zoo. For the most part, line-ups weren't bad at all. One thing I noticed was an underabundance of staff. Seems like some stores are having trouble attracting people to work retail. The Bay was particularly bad.

I was in EB Games and they had three Wii boxes on the wall. Dunno if they contained actual consoles or not, but they were there. I would guess they were empty.

I've finished about 95% of my shopping and my feet are bloody killed me!!!

Sherway was pretty easy shopping, at least for the holidays (late afternoon Sat.)
