That is not true.
There is now more and more evidence that vaccinations significantly reduce the number of symptomatic as well as asymptomatic infections.
Even for those who are infected, the viral load is greatly reduced - so much less likely to transmit the virus, and less likely to cause severe infection because of reduced viral loads.

So yes, vaccinated SP is much safer than non-vaccinated ones for Covid.

Vaccines primarily prevent people from getting infected if exposed. That means your immune system will shut down the virus (with a certain percentage success rate) so it does not go on to an infection.

This breaks the virus reproduction rate if enough are vaccinated.

In addition, these vaccines also reduce the severity of illness if an infection does still happen from an exposure (remember, it is not 100%)
