what are the newest and best specs available for a computer lcd monitor? i was looking at buying 2 different monitors: both are 19" one was hp w2007 i think and the other was a samsung 931c sync master. the samsung was 2000:1 ratio with 2ms response time and the hp was 1000:1 with 5ms

yeah and you also want to see them in action; with such specs you should be good but make sure that medium contrasts (bownish/greens) on movies do not show like ants running on the screen (pixels...).
