A few interesting things based on this:

https://www.ontario.ca/page/reopening-ontario-whats-each-stage#s-17

Assuming of course you believe the adult SPAs fall within the wording here. I guess it can be taken in either direction if you try "hard" (no pun intended)

"Businesses should also consider ... recording each patron’s name and contact information for the purpose of contact tracing."
Good luck with that. Most of us wouldn't give our real names. We have to hope there is no outbreak at any of the SPAs reopening. If an outbreak happens and there is no contact tracing (which there won't be) and if that makes the news....people are going to have a field day with this.

"Where physical distancing cannot be maintained, personal care service providers should ensure that:
Patrons wear face coverings at all times.
Workers wear face coverings and other appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves.
"

I can just imagine....wear a face covering but be completely naked doing it....

I'm trying to look at the funny aspect up above but the Virus shouldn't be taken lightly so i hope this doesn't cause an outbreak within the community...

Bah.. median mortality rate is 80 years old and they have all kinds of comorbidities. That's HIGHER than the average life expectancy! LOL I know a few people who had it and it was no big deal at all. Even Chris Cuomo live broadcasted from his home with it, every fawking night and looking like a million bucks. LMAO

It's to be expected as things get phased back into the groove.
No one should or is expecting things to be 100% the same as pre-lockdown at least for a month or two (depending on the covid numbers)
Once we are out of the woods, things would be normal again.

Just got to deal with the situation at hand as best as we can to ensure safety for everyone.

In the mean time everyone is free to support their fave ladies or wait out just a bit longer for more relaxed rules.
I'm sure there are some less risk averse providers available, but that is too risky for me at this time.

There are enough choices for everyone.
I hope no one will hate on providers who follow safety measures.

Be happy, not grouchy.

From BC's generic email:

If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that you visit the Brass Club at a later date.

We are not accepting any guests or staff who has attended any gatherings or events of ten or more poeple in the last 2 weeks or traveled outside of Ottawa, without proof of testing for COVID-19.

Showers upon arrival will be mandatory for all guests and staff.

Introducing our new contact-less session: The ultimate voyeurism experience. Please inquire with us.

Significantly reducing capacity to ensure physical distancing, which means we will only have 4 staff on shift at once.

Screening of our guests for symptoms on site. Contact-less temperature checks upon arrival will be mandatory.

We reserve the right to refuse entry into the Brass Club to anyone with symptoms of any kind.

Guests will be required to make a reservation online or by phone. Walk-ins for the time being will no longer be accepted. We will be accepting a limited number of guests and advance booking is highly recommended.

Due to our limited capacity and staff, any guest who does not show up for an appointment or cancels without proper notice will be subject to a $100 cancellation fee.

Face mask and gloves will be provided on site and you are strongly recommended to use them.

Each staff member will be assigned their own room with 30 minute intervals between guest to allow for thorough disinfecting of all surfaces to meet public health standards.

We are currently not booking nuru, duos or trios, with the exception of training sessions. New staff member will be paired with an experienced staff member for the duration of their training.

Our bar and reception area will be closed until further notice.

Please note that 45 and 60 minute sessions will be subject to a $10 Increase.
Thanks for the heads up SB, I barely check my backup email.
Good to know they are upfront about it. Reasonable precautions in this COVID-19 era.
This will allow us to make an informed choice when planning our visit.

$10 increase for a contactless session. Sitting 6 feet away from a hostess so I can manually massage myself. Or MAs and clients wearing face masks. Brutal.

LMAO. That's to cover the cost of sanitizers, more hot water showers etc

Business as usual. What happens in a Spa room, stays in the Spa room.

Kinda sad to pay for these services under current conditions.
Everyone is afraid of each other's cooties, wearing gloves and masks, with other restrictions as well.
How on earth is that even remotely enjoyable enough to pay for ?

I don't think i'd pay 190-200 bucks for a contactless voyeur session, might as well just jack off with my imagination. As for going there versus other spas, don't kid yourself, i'll wager that in the rooms things will not be that official in some cases and as far management assertion that their prime concerns is your health or their staff, i'll reserve my doubts on that one. Bottom line is what matters here. Other spas have the same guidelines so given a choice, i know where i won't go.

For now it's good to visit regulars who have known you and can be more comfortable with you in contrast to someone meeting for the first time.

mod edited: please no insinuations of spas breaking any health or safety rules at this time.
I've already removed or edited a couple of other posts by different members.

Not hating on BC....but didn't CMJ post basically the exact same precautions on their Twitter page? Plus they're also charging less for their contact-less sessions as opposed to more.
actually the reason i'm staying away from CMJ more has to do with how long they waited to close when all of this crazyness started
