OTTAWA — Two 15-year-old girls face multiple charges in relation to a human trafficking investigation by Ottawa Police.
The two girls, who can't be named because of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, face multiple criminal charges after three incidents in which police say underage girls were forced into prostitution.
A third suspect, a 17-year-old girl, is still at large.
Police said three female victims between 13 and 17 years of age were taken to an Ottawa residence before being driven to other locations in the city for the purposes of prostitution.
The two suspects were arrested on June 8 and 9. They face charges of human trafficking, procuring, forcible confinement, assault, sexual assault, robbery, abduction and uttering threats.
