Looks like Chinese State Media floated this story around and it got picked up by Reuters, CNBC and other news agencies. However, Japan's economic minister has denied these reports

Once Trump pulls out military support for S. Korea and Japan, China will swallow up S.Korea and Japan. Makes sense to be Asian trade partners now.
