Sound care help!!!

Ok a while ago I posted a thread regarding help with a integrated sound card problem. Since then I have gone out and bought a sound card. So this is my question. what do i do??? I want to install the sound card. but I need to disable the sound signal that is sent to the mother board sound card. how do I do this??? Please be as specific as you can be. Thanks in advance.

Others will chime in with more advice, but in my case in the bootup start menu you have the option of pressing delete to usually get to the CMOS settings. In that..usually in the advanced menu you find an option to disbale the on board audio settings.

However with WIN XP this really should not be needed. Just install the card and the drivers and you should be good to go!
