I've been away from this board for some time and it's because I'd been pre-occupied trying a "new" thing............I actually tried 'Ashley Madison' if you can believe that.......you know -- trying to meet a married lady or two who might be looking for some fun on the side. Forget it! I'll stick to hobbying thank you very much. Their website is full of personal ads which are simply phony! What they do is send you a collect message supposedly from another member and they include a picture of a very sexy lady who says she wants to contact you. In order to read this message you have to pay with credits you've bought previously. This 'lady' is looking for some 'steamy chat' and of course you start thinking that eventually you'll both connect in person. But the funny thing is is the messages you get from her never call you by name or handle but just 'Hi, there" and "I'm a little tired to chat right now but I hope we'll get together real soon...." I admit it took me some time to figure out that the idea is for you to keep spending money to buy credits. I can't prove this but I suspect they block most if not all the messages you send to legitimate members in order to keep you playing the game and spending money on credits as long as possible. Don't any of you bother. Stick to hobbying and don't waste your time.

I tried this site as well. What i noticed is when i sent a "Wink Message" to another person, i got a very quick, in fact too quick, reply back. I don't think that the member even got my message in the first place.

Hey, onetimer, ease up..........I know some people like to nitpik but most of us are just ordinary blokes - spelling and grammar mistakes and all.......................But I must admit before I post I always preview carefully for errors and the like - plus I like to make sure what I write at least appears intelligible.........Don't want to be accused of foot-in-mouth disease......

I am currently having a similar experience with Ashley Madison, SideshowBob. I have sent out dozens of messages at 5 credits a piece and i have recieved only one reply. It was, "Not interested."
Man, i had to crank the heat up after that comment, it was so cold.
It has to be bullshit. I am a pretty buff guy and i know that the odds of me not getting more than one reply are slim, especially since i try to write friendly, funny and honest messages. If it is a legit service, Brad pitt is the only dude that has a chance of scoring a date.
Same goes with Eroticy and Sex2go.

The sole owner of this "agency" is Darren Morganstern -- a clever but sometimes not so ethical proprietor of 976 and 1-900 numbers. The premise is a good one, but the supply of attached women seeking men cannot possibly meet the demand of men seeking attached women. Just look at the demographics of any other telephone based or online chat or dating forum. The men always exhaust the supply of women. Why would AM's demographics be any different? I met up with 2 ladies from Ashley Madison. I spent about $80. in credits to do it. I must have chatted with 40 or so women. Trick was to get them to e-mail or chat with you off the site. No-one wants to pay to chat. Other than that, I did get alot of obvious fake hits, where model chicks posing nude with credit cards in their garters are swaering that the pictures are real. Yeah right.
A married female friend of mine used Ashley Madison for a while. She only met 1 guy, who honestly could have been a male stripper, and they had a great time. Turns out, he's in the business of having sex with married women and then blackmailing them to not tell their husbands. Luckily, she and hubby are on the outs anyways, so The Toy (as she called him) was S.O.L. She then called a Peel Region cop friend of hers.....I'll let you know how it turns out.
