Hi everyone,

Used search for mp3 files and no help.
Is there a software I can use to convert m4a files into mp3 or wma files?
My mp3 player wont play m4a files.

Thanks in advance.

Just google wma to mp3. There are so many programs out there that do this. Some straight forward ones, some with many options (volume, base, treble, fading .... on and on). It all depends on what you want to do, a straight forward wma to mp3 conversion or if you want to get fancy.
Hope this helps :D

the best one is EAC exact audio copy think its by a guy named Chris Mydin (spelling is probably incorrect) sorry I don't have a link.

What's good about this program is that it makes variable bit rate mp3 files. This means that the program adjusts the bit rate depending on the complexity of that instant of music. This results in a mp3 file with higher sound quality but also higher file size. Basically its a way of improving the sound quality without having to increase the file size too much.

Not sure if it works for m4a. Sorry I misread your post and assumed you were going from CD to MP3. But the program is still worth checking out.
