So which clubs in Ottawa, are worth it?

Depends on what you're looking for...others may somewhat disagree, but to my mind:
Pigale's or Bare Fax for the best eye candy, YMMV for mileage, but you'll get more than at FYEO or BR in Toronto.
Playmate for the closest you'll find here to a Trinity experience, but its also very friendly, interesting mix of dancers with some real beauties.
Barbarella Diamonds is right downtown, can have some interesting mileage and has some very beautiful dancers. Songs can be very short though and its definite YMMV as to value.
Club 61 - The gem of the nation's capital and possibly the country. The modern yet friendly decor, cosmopolitan mix of the world's most beautiful women onstage and mingling with the patrons and well appointed booths make this the perfect destination. Its on the Quebec side a $20 cab ride from downtown, but worth every penny.

LOL ! It's a hell-hole. s_licker is an as_licker for Club 61. The strippers are all skanky and the place looks like a dive.s_licker said:
If your thinking Barefax, I'd recomend Pigale's. I like teh Fax but if you can get out to Pigs, the talent is a few notches better. Both have good looking dancers but mingling factor there is low to none.
Heard good things about Nuden, and bad thigns too, but i'm more inclune to beleive its a hit and miss.

For my dollar I'm a fan of Barb's Diamond. As a group they might not be as amazingly pretty as Pigale's, but they will sit next to you for at least 1 song chatting it up before asking you to take them back for dances. And to me, that just makes me not feel like a walking wallet.

if eye candy is your preference, then definitely Pigales in Gatineau. best-looking girls and mileage is not too shabby either (maybe not CB-type mileage but ALOT better than the Rail, for example). after that, either Barefax or Diamonds/Barbarellas, both are right in downtown Ottawa. as previously stated, talent quality is just a notch below Pigales with mileage comparable to Pigales
if mileage is what you're after, try Playmate in Vanier or the Nuden off St-Laurent. decent quality girls
finally, if you're looking for a real easy-going place with friendly girls that will chat you up for quite awhile before hitting you up for dances, I suggest Club 77 in Gatineau or Minx in the Byward Market. decent quality girls
The Bare Fax, Pigale's and Barbarella's tend to have the better looking women and I have to agree about the posts on the Nu Den. At their old location on Russell Rd. (man I'm dating myself) it was always packed with lots of friendly girls. Last time I was in had a dance in the CR and she kept her arms at her sides protecting her boobs and more or less limiting my groping. I also don't like the high stage. For me best mileage is at the Playmate and Taboo in Gatineau.
