So what do you do when you travel to the States?

I live in the states and travel to the GTA on business as often as I can. The SP business is so much better in Canada. One reason is that it is practically legal and another reason is TERB. Free economy allows for higher quality at fair rates.

I also travel all over the 50 states. Still looking for good advice when I travel. I have invited an SP to my hotel room in many different places, but I am yet to figure out a forum in the states that has accurate information. The risks are so much higher.

So I am curious, what do the CA businessmen do when they travel to the states? Do you hobby? Where do you get the information?

Yes, I'd be interested to know too. I primarily travel to TO for my business, but I do also travel now and then to other cities in the US, and I have found the hobbying to be pretty lame. Recent examples of places where I would have thought the sp action would have been better include Atlanta and Boston. Phoenix, on the other hand, was a nice surprise. I usually use TER as my chief source of info.

I use TER also as my main source when I travel to the USA. Last month, I saw a little gem in Orlando based on 17 positive reviews there. I usually pick ladies who have a large number of consistently good reviews, rather than just a couple. Not all the reviews on TER are legit or reliable.

Solid Gold in Miami ( way north of South Beach ) was good.
I am sure there are good ones, but I don't plan to see sp's in states really.

TER is theeroticreview.com. It covers escorts in most of the major cities in North America, including Toronto. Some feel the reviews there can be unreliable, but I have found that they are usually pretty accurate. At least that has been my experience when looking at what has been written about Toronto based sp's who I have also seen.

TER results varies with cities.

Many providers in Phoenix refuse to take clients that mention TER since often the reviews, while good of them, are "juiced up" since they have to be "hot reading" with sexual details to get credit for TER membership. Or reviews are fake just to get membership credit. The owner is on a power trip and at a whim will ban providers he doesn't like as he has with some of the Phoenix providers.

Such detailed reviews of course are great reading for LE when they set up stings.

I simply don't see escorts when I go to the US. It's illegal. It's expensive. Quality isn't guaranteed. I'm unfamiliar with the market. AndI'm usually staying with friends.

Toronto seems so much better than the US, I'm just not motivated to experiment.

Phoenix has many really great providers but becasue we have so many LE stings, the ones the vistor is going to find in yellow pages or local adult mags and newspapers and websites are about 80% ripoffs. We have been known as the cash and dash capital for providers preying on mostly visitors. We have more ads per capital in the phone book of any U.S. city, most by just a few scam agencies using dozens of different names and numbers.

On the other hand we have a community of over 300 providers and customers on a private E-mail list sharing reviews and information. Many of the more private providers that have great reviews are $200 or less. But most of the more public providers (those that are honest) often charge $400 or more.

The more public provider has to screen very carefully and many will not take a client unless based on a referral from a known safe provider or can give one as a reference. All this due to the very high LE activity since its so much more fun chasing breasts than going after real criminals that have those nasty guns that go bang.

You misquoted me, Dave. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the action I got in Phoenix. And as you might recall, you were one of the fellows I contacted for information prior to going there.

I can see where oagre is coming from, and I have not really experimented much with the hobby in the US, preferring to save my money for the more reliable TO. If I have many more trips like the lame-o one I just had in Boston, I might swear off hobbying in the US too.

My favorite place to have fun is a SC called "Rick's" in Houston Tx. Haven't been for a while... Hope it's still open.


As far as seeing SP's... I usually abstain but TER would be a decent source. I suppose that some of our American TERB freinds would be a great source as well.

Ricks is still there..In fact I think they IPOed that chain a couple of years ago if I'm not mistaken.

Houston and Dallas are two fine cities for hobbying. I must say I find it amusing if guys think that hobbying resources such as TERB are unavailible for most major US cities. In my experience, the information is even more extensive. Go to TBD and look at any of the major city boards. A serious hobbyist will have acess to TER. Post on those boards and you will quickly learn what is worthwhile in the areas that you will visit. Out here in SF, the SF Redbook is very well known. www.sfredbook.com. Extensive forums for just about any taste and a very comprehensive database of reviews. For 250 an hour out here, you can get 220/hour market average escorts that perform every bit as well as the average Canadian lady. Now what we don't have are the Eastern Europeans. And the last time I checked my appointment roster for Toronto, half of it was consumed by the Eastern Europeans, who might be vacationing in Toronto, but are certainly not Canadian citizens. What you get in the US in the workforce are mostly American girls. It is rare to get anything else, unless you go to AMPs. In SF, the AMPs here are probably second to none.

There are some great strip clubs in the States and I have been to most all of them. There are a few SC directories on the web. Rick's in Houston is one of the best. But the SP market lacks consistency - you never know for sure what you will get.

Do I hobby in the US? Not a chance. Get caught and convicted, and it takes 12-18 months to get a waiver to cross the border again.

Prices are far too high by Toronto standards, as well.

Strip Clubs - Houston

While not the main topic of this tread I do want to comment on Houston Strip Clubs. Treasure's and St. James are the best SC's by far, both in terms of quality of talent and mileage. Rick's is a complete waste and only visited by a small group of hard core locals and tourist who have heard of the IPO or seen the billboards. Couple of years ago Rick's was the place to go, but no longer.

There is the good, the bad, and the ugly everywhere. Chicago-some superstars, but expensive; Seattle-great indies and great agency ladies; LA=gorgeous girls, can be very expensive; Same with SF;. I found TER to be very accurate; bigdoggies sometimes provides useful info. It usually takes some research, perhaps a second visit to the city, but for consistently and value of quality ladies, I would have to say Toronto and Montreal are far better hunting grounds than US, except if you want to spend major bucks in LA and NY.
