Wow, for the very, very few cops ever, ever convicted of criminal offences, his sentence is certainly on the lengthy side of the scale.

Forcillo got what, was it 5 years for what was basically a one man execution squad.

Rick Shank received 2 murder trial acquittals and TPS promotions.

That Therriault dickhead got what, a few months if anything at all for nearly beating a penny thief to death.

Countless others in the TPS gang of criminals have received shit fuck all for perjury, falsifying evidence, planting drugs etc .......

What's a cop got to do to get a severe sentence in this town anyway?

Apparently steal a watch and some credit cards from dead people it seems.

Just saying, she went hard on this guy.

" A Toronto police officer found guilty of misusing police resources, falsifying police reports, and stealing from dead people will serve seven years in prison, an Ontario judge ruled today."

Being sentenced to seven years and serving seven years aren't the same thing.

"Borissov has been in custody since this attempt to flee. He had been suspended with pay since his initial arrest in 2022, and has since been placed on unpaid leave as of Aug. 30, a police spokesperson said."

I think, in the rare cases when police officers are convicted, the money paid to them when they were suspended with pay should be deducted from the value of their accrued pension, and/or they should forfeit the portion of their pension derived from Employer contributions.

"He will face a police disciplinary hearing for misconduct charges related to these offences, and is likely to lose his job."

Or he might get his job back after doing his time.

Exactly, this is a rare occurrence that I'm having trouble understanding. Your Forcillo comparison really quantifies the situation. Either way I'm happy to see real justice. Finally.
