First it was the amphibians worldwide suffering from some strange affliction causing their numbers to drop.

Now it's snakes.

Cool isn't it?

Wonder when it will be our turn? Terbies in decline! Yikes!

Some creationist do not believe that this is true, but evolutionist believe that Terbies have adapted over time and actually grow a temporary protective skin over some parts of their bodies to ward off environmental and biological dangers. This skin is shed from the body part once the dangers have passed.

See the thread about choosing childlessness, the ones about the oil spill poisoning the Gulf, the Carribean and moving towards Europe and all the ones about how two Semitic peoples can only live together by maintaining a state of war.

Heard this snake guy on CBC "as it happens " last night

Some species of snakes are in decline

The only common denominator is weather but this could be a normal part of nature's cycle

Interesting connection between the decline in amphibians and the decline in snakes.

I once bought a farm that had been heavily sprayed. When I stopped spraying, the following year, the place was crawling with frogs. The next year, there were snakes everywhere. It took about 5 years for the fauna to get back in equilibrium.
