The "all jews..." and "all muslims..." or even "all christians..." nonsense is so extraordinary to see in the 21st century.
It's like instead of a "illuminati" we have a rebirth of the "ignorami" .
There are good and bad peeps everywhere. Broad brushing only fuels stupidity.
The Klan see themselves as Christian for chrissake.

I just broad brushed you. Sorry about that.
However, in seriousness, what peoples judgments/conclusions are based on is often emotion. That gets clicks. So the kernel of truth that you refer to is often a small segment of that population. And, the amplification by dishonest actors makes people overestimate the prevalence or threat. Fox News ran incessant and breathless videos of "the knockout game" featuring a couple black guys sucker punching a random white guy. "Sweeping the country!" But just 4 incidents ot something minor like that. Thus what about the 99.9999999% who don't sucker punch strangers? In other words we often don't know the prevalence. Murder in USA was down under Biden. Murder rates under almost all recent president's was down below the 1970s. But many people think it's up. Social media will amplify. That will distort judgments of frequency etc.
The point is none of this means you apply the law differently to different people. None of this means you judge an entire group of people by the actions of some.

Funny thing, I got it wrong.

The people chanting Jesus actually applied for the protest, got the insurance and the police protection.
The Muslims in this case got whim of it and decided to show up before the march. That's interesting. lol
