I made a coffee table with Mappa and epoxy and a few epoxy coasters.
So when looking for some new fine furniture - come to TERB. Got it! Is there anything you guys can’t do??!?! LOL.

You get apply a ceramic coating on the table to prevent scratches.
Uhhhhmmmmm... I don't think they can turn softwood into hardwood like you can!

Melamine to make the form
tuck tape to line the form
chaulking
wood for table(obvious I know)
Epoxy resin and colour pigment of your choosing
router and slab flattening router bit
router sled for flattening slab.
random orbit sander and sandpaper
oil finish
table legs of your choosing.

Does the epoxy smell is strong enough to need a separate part of the house to work on it?
Doesn't smell much at all. I did the pour in my basement. This is the brand of epoxy I used. It isn't cheap.
There are different epoxies for different thickness of wood. Be careful which 1 you buy. Which ever company you buy from if you are doing a table get a "deep pour" epoxy. It takes 3-5 days to cure. I waited 7 just to make sure. **And mix properly**
If you have never done this before make sure you read and watch as many videos as you can before you use it. Wear latex glove, safety glasses and old long sleeve shirt and pants incase you spill/splash some on you. Its next to impossible to get off your skin.
