Nothing ever changes.

In winter, Stegman's Mill is the grave yard of Tesla. It happened again today, dead Tesla in the ravine section. People want to be environmentally friendly, I get it. I just don't see the point in splurging $70,000.00 on a car that can't handle Canadian winter. Here I am happily fishtailing my way toward Islington Av. Such fun.

Do they drive Teslas in North Bay?

My guess is there aren't a lot of Tesla's up in North Bay. Just a lot of drugs and crime.

The Don Valley Parkway is closed in both directions as hazardous winter conditions continue to cause major disruptions across Toronto. Police say southbound lanes are shut from Eglinton Avenue to the Gardiner Expressway due to multiple minor crashes, black ice, and ongoing snowplow operations.

Northbound lanes are also closed at Bloor Street, compounding delays through the downtown core. Drivers are being urged to avoid the DVP entirely and use alternate routes as cleanup and safety operations continue. There’s no timeline yet for when the highway will fully reopen.

Did not need a strip club visit today to get my heart pumping.
Just shovel driveway at 6 am to get my son off to work
And then again at 1pm to finish with the accumulation since then.

As Yogi Berra said, it's 1976 all over again.

The Earth was unusually geologically active in 2025 with at least 8 major volcanic eruptions. Four massive eruptions in the Java, American Samoa, Aleutian Islands and Guatemala. The American Samoa eruption was the absolutely massive with the island collapsing back into the Pacific Ocean. Climate change began to set in in 1988 with winters becoming milder. The more volcanic eruptions there are the more severe the winter becomes. This could be the first of a number of massive snowfalls coming our way.

Be prepared.

I spent an hour and a half shoveling yesterday afternoon. Thank goodness the snow was not the wet heavy kind or my back would be toast today.
