In a train compartment during a long journey were a beautiful young Italian lady, a matronly German lady, and seated across from them, a young Englishman and a Frenchman. The Frenchman had been trying with no success to flirt with the Italian lady, and would not take no for an answer. As the train travelled through a tunnel, the lights dimmed and the loud sound of flesh hitting flesh was heard. As the lights came back on, the Frenchman was holding his hand to his cheek where he had just been slapped.
The Italian lady thought: He tried to grab for me, must have grabbed the German lady by mistake and she slapped him.
The German lady thought: He made his play and she finally gave him what he deserved.
The Frenchman thought: The Englishman must have grabbed her knee, she thought I did, and she slapped me.
The Englishman thought: I hope we go through another tunnel soon so I can slap that smarmy Frenchman again!!!
