An interesting (and very surprising) thing happened to me several nights ago, and I thought that sharing the story would be a great way to begin a thread on similiar such experiences.
I was out at a pub with my SO and several of her workmates whom I had never met before. One of them was a nice, young (and very cute) woman. After speaking to her for about 10 minutes, and listening to her tell me about her family, her background, various other details, etc., I realized that I was talking to the sister of one of my all-time favourite SPs!! I was SURE of it. There are some pretty unique things about her and her family (which I won't divulge). I didn't let on, of course, and the more she talked the more I knew it was her. And the physical resemblance is totally there.
Sometimes the world is really too damn small, even in a big city like Toronto. Would any other members care to share similar stories?
