Since when Terb members started to harass SPs?

Got a text today from a 613 number asking my rates etc, you know, normal booking stuff. Right after my answer of do's and donts, the "gentleman" asks me I was doing on that scam board everybody knows about. After a good 5 minutes of "Im not there" "Yes you are" back and forth, he starts asking me why. "Remember VD?" "What are you doing there" "Why you were there", non-efff-stop. Unless you have a crystal ball, there was no way to know if I was on that board or not, so my guess is: Some Terb user, who read that thread that was deleted a looong time ago - so this guy is really digging up old stuff. The texts didn't stop and he kept going with annoying bs, saying with his words: "Ur claints aren't gonna come today anymore". And just like that, the 3 bookings I had were actually fake bookings! Hours of work wasted!

So, since it's a 613 number, and all the 3 other bookings that turned out to be fake were also 613 numbers, I imagine the person it is indeed from Ottawa and maybe an active member of this section of Terb, which is why I'm posting it here. I told him already - and the other 3 numbers that I was going to report the numbers to every single SP I know.

Terb is a great place to share your hobby experiences and help each other to avoid baits, but use something so silly to hurt people's job, is not cool at all!

If any other SP I don't have the contact wants me to send the screen shot of the chat + the numbers, please PM me.

Update: One of the 3 numbers just randomly said that "I will report you on Terb too." I am waiting!

Sounds like one person. Every large group, Terb, the 613 area code etc will come up with a few lemons.

I don't understand the motivation for someone doing that just for kicks. I don't have much of a life but anyone like that needs to find a new hobby.

Main reason why I was so surprised. Never thought someone that would be part of a forum like Terb would waste time doing this. I guess this long and cold as balls winter has driven some people crazy.

Seriously people grow up. Why bother a reputable SP? If you want to fake book how about fake booking those that use other peoples pics. Bait and Switch ones are great for fake bookings. Just google the pics and if the pics aren't local or are from some porn star then go to town with fake bookings. You could be saving some guy from a bad experience.

Camilla is awesome. We need more SPs like her. Always straight up with what she will do and won't do when you call or text. Always a good experience with her. I have always left there with a smile.

It's shitty but, with how people can remain anonymous, you'll always get trolls and shit disturbers no matter where you go.

To put it in a sports analogy, it's like that guy that likes to tell you how much better his team is than your team, and is a real douchebag about it. Seriously, fuck that guy and everybody else that likes that team. But no, most of the other fans of his team are no different than you, it's just this one guy that's a problem.

So it's not terb members, it's that one guy. Seriously...fuck that guy, he's a dick!

Popular indies and agencies get fake bookings all the time , it's an old trick that newbies think of as a clever tactic to steer business their way. It never works, the novelty of giving you a hard time will wear off once they move on to the next one.
