Simple question: What is better McAfee End point or Symantec End point and why?

Decided to stick with a blue-chip company... its one or the other for me.. done need convincing to try anything else, just thoughts on the question at hand... Very much appreciated

Using McAfee I got hit with viruses during my first 2 years.
Using Norton I didn't get hit at all the next 5 years.
Based on that IMO Norton is better if you feel need to pay for AV.

That said I dumped Norton after 5 years for free Avast and never had any problems.
