Should there be a time or post limit to some of these threads?

I agree with you, those threads are too long.

Is not big deal.. just annoying somewhat when 3 threads started about the same place.

In some cases I like that there is 1 thread for something. I don't care that it's 10 pages long. All the info is in one spot and you automatically go to the latest posts anyways so what difference does it make really? In fact I'd like some posts to be "Pinned" at the top in some forums. Like if a city has 5 strip clubs pin all those separate threads at the top so they are easy to find. Now that wouldn't work with MP's opening and closing all the time but it's just an example. Some of the strip clubs on MERB have 40+ pages. I also agree with Walleyejack that it can cut down on 3 threads on the same place.
