On the road with Willy
such wonderful people.
Whether they are gang members, drug dealers, gangbangers and yes occasionally innocent bystanders, they are always such wonderful people.
They were just about to turn their lives about, yada, yada, yada.:peace:
How come they were never the bastard that deserved what they got.
It's never the SOB that terrorized his part of the Hood or dealt drugs to kids or pimped girls.

I am always amazed how nice people always get it in the neck.
Maybe nice guys/girls do finish last.
I'm going to have to change my modus apperandia.
It's scary to think as a nice guy who isn't out at parties and raves and cruising the mean streets dealing, pimping, stealing after the bewitching hour, I could be next.

NO! HOLD ME, I'M SCARED,:yield:
I SEE DEAD PEOPLE!

It's our society's ridiculous reluctance to speak ill of the dead...

Personally, I'm more of a call it how I see it kinda guy.

It is usually quite predictable.
The mothers and aunties on TV afterwards crying and saying "what a good boy he was".
The police in the background shaking their heads and saying "victim known to police".

I couldn't care less about bad guys offing bad guys.
Just sucks for innocent bystanders caught in the middle.

Me too. Somehow some people felt i was in the wrong to remind people that rob ford wasn't exactly the saint hr was being made out to be. The news did a 180 on him.

If you're going to call things how you see it, how about look a little bit further than the surface of your newspaper or TV screen? I reserve judgement on people that I will never know personally. Rob Ford definitely wasn't a saint, but he did contribute something positive (however small) to the city.

If any of you died I'm sure your families would be saying the same thing and yet in the eyes of many, we're assholes for indulging in this hobby. No I'm not equating being a thug with being a John but the point is that there is no way to describe a person in complete terms. Perspective matters.

Sadly, perspective does not seem to matter any more. It's much more important to write in all caps and under 140 characters. Analysis, critical thinking, what are those things?

Wah wah wah
Blah blah blah

He was "turning his life around" and a "good kid"
Such a "great dad" even if he was never home and paid no child support
Why can't "the man" just let him be

Ever notice how those who get shot are all such upstanding citizens who all seem to have same stellar qualities?
Only on news can I hear how great the local drug dealing pimp who raped his wife and abused his kids was

le.

It's never the SOB that terrorized his part of the Hood or dealt drugs to kids or pimped girls.
He isn't pimping girls he is providing an employment opportunity to a less fortunate group of individuals and as girls he is also helping a minority group that would normally face pressure breaking through the "glass ceiling"
He isn't dealing drugs to kids he is providing a product that is in demand. He is simply filling a void in the supply chain to customers that appreciate his product
He doesn't really terrorize his "hood" he helps "police" it and keep other gangs from entering it and starting gang wars or causing problems. He simply asks his neighbours to pay him for the services he provides

See he really isn't that bad.......he really is a nice guy:p

(I am assuming most people will take my comment as pure sarcasm however not everyone gets it so this comment was sarcasm.....if you believe my comment then you should look at becoming a reporter for a paper like the Toronto Star)

Saw a black leader in Jamestown ask for more police presence but didn't BLM and Desmond Cole say the police is the enemy? How can a district have a greater police presence when the police aren't even allow to talk to the residents?

The police in the background shaking their heads and saying "victim known to police".
The problem with that statement is that it is vague and implies the worst. I read (in Toronto Life magazine I believe) that this could also mean, a person (usually black) that may have gotten pulled over, for any number of reasons. They get a note put into their computer file and bam, they are considered "known to police". They don't even have to be charged with anything. The article said how one car was pulled over for throwing a tissue out the window.
