Shooting at HOL

Not to be cruel but that's probably the first exciting thing to happen to that place in a long while.
Not really, it was 2:45 AM outside of the closed club. The long record lack of excitement in the HOL is still unblemished.
Deja vu, except this is at HOL 1. I remember when they gun down NapeDog outside HOL 2 a few years ago.
I'm just shocked it wasn't the Bloor location... If I had to pick a HOL to get shot outside of it would be HOL Bloor (II), not HOL Queensway(I).
this is nonsense...to the direct south. a quiet residetial area with low crime rate..to the East, nice new condos and townhouses, not to mention High Park..also in the area is at least 3 clean, well reviewed family type restarants..oh and drive a little bit north, and you will discover enclaves of million dollar homes and mansions
the whole area boasts of a low crime rate..oh and to the west, a vibrant and always busy movie complex and an allnight Sobeys, and a Mercedes dealership...
Must have been waiting for a dancer, cause the club may have been closed but it takes time for everybody to clear out.
The music often goes 'till 2:30 - 3. The only problem with staggering out of the VIP then is that you get to see the place with the house lights on. Ewww...
While not the greatest area I wouldn't say it's that bad.

Does HOL 2 still scan you with a metal detector when you enter? Do guys still wear baggy pants? I remember one guy was denied entry because he was wearing baggy pants and he said that was racist because only black guys wear baggy pants.
Other than a security guy by the door at night sometimes, I haven't had a pat or wand by the door in my memory at HOL II (Bloor). Though I'm a white guy who dresses OK, so I doubt I'm high on the priority list.
