SHAMPOOS AND CONDITIONERS
Are they all the same well no you get what you pay for and a shampoo is not a soap like we wash our bodies with..
Did you ever pull a sweater over your head and your hair became all static and fly away that’s because belive it or not sudsing up is all about electricity. That’s because the suface of your hair carries small negative electrical charges.
SHAMPOOS
Surfactants, which are the main ingredients in shampoo carry tiny negative electrical charge on one end. This end is soluble in water and will not mix with oil or grease.the opposite end of the surfactants molecule is soluble in oily,greasy material and will not mix with water. The oil-soluble end of the surfactants breaks up the oil and dirt and when the negatively charged portion meets your negatively charged hair the dirt and debris are repelled. In simple terms if you take two negative magnets and put hem together you cant because they will repell each other that’s what shampoo does and while its repelling with the hair its releasing all the dirt and oil from your hair.

CONDITIONERS
important to condition your hair because once you clean it you have to put some things back into the hair shaft good oils other proteins etc etc because you just stripped it with the shampoo.
So how conditioners work is they are positively charged . since opposites attract this allows conditioners ingredients to remain on your hair,where they settle into areas of damage and deterioration.also as these positive and negative charges cancel each other out it reduces static electricity on the hair which keeps the cuticle closed and your hair healthier and stronger to the outside elements –dirt humidity etc etc .
So the difference between cheap and better names is the quality of the SUFACTANTS they use in the products which actually clean the hair better and the ingredients in the conditioners that replenish the hair with the good oils you washed out.

Also the thicker it is does not mean its better cheaper brands use sulfate(salt) to thicken the product not good for your hair and your scalp also the lathering part is just a means of distributing the surfactants and ingredients easily to your hair. More lather does not mean it’s a better product. Just means you see more suds which soap does not clean your hair it cleans your scalp.
That’s why a 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner is bullshit you cannot give your hair a negative charge and a positive charge at the same time just a gimmick for lazy consumers.

Don’t worry guys when I use to go around to the hair schools and salons and give product knowledge classes most stylist and teachers did not even know how and why these products worked.

If we all used cheap shampoos and no conditioners, I believe we could harness all that electricity and not rely on nuclear power. Every hour we could have volunteer 'sweater putting on' sessions followed by 'sweater taking off' sessions. There would be no war in the Middle East if we could tap into this power source, I believe having unmanageable hair is worth it.
