lol ... I think it just refers to the voracious sexual habits of minks ... apparently they procreate a lot ... however, I've never actually asked one, and wikipedia would appear to dispute it:

That's the definition I've always heard as well, and from what I know it's quite true (at least for mink).

I believe the saying is "Shag like a Minx" as minx used to be a slang term for a promiscuous woman or a 'hussy'. She probably heard the reference in a period movie or more recently in one of the Austin Powers movies and misquoted it.
I can't imagine anyone would want to book a girl that shagged like a mink, I've seen it... as others have said, not your ideal situation for many reasons.
