Bangkok has a wide assortment of any taste. There are several red light blocks, but you can meet a hooker even outside of it. Haven't been at Macao, so won't tell ya about it, but was working all over Tanzania (visit site if you're interested in constructing sheds haha). Of course, the difference between them is like between the skies and earth.
I was walking down a dusty side street one evening in Chiang Mai, when a Ho Chi Mihn look alike pulled up beside me in a tuktuk and started giving me the finger in a vigorous and friendly manner. I thought wtf? i didn' insult you, my friend. Anyway he kept smiling and saying "lady massage lady massage" so I hopped in and he took me to the outskirts of town. I started getting kind of nervous at this point. Anyway he pulled up to a big corrugated steed door, and banged on it. The door slid open and I was ushered into a compound that was clearly a jail of sorts.
Some gangsters yelled out an order in the general direction of upstairs and down the stairs came a collection of Asian girls, a lot of whom looked Chinese. They didn't look happy. They had that kind of beaten down by gangsters look about them.
I asked how much? and I think it was around $50 for all night. The guy said take her back to your hotel and kick her out in the morning and somebody will transport her back to jail.
I said, I couldn't really do that because my girlfriend was at the hotel. (we had a fight, and weren't on speaking terms just then). He said, "well you can't do it here". So I thanked him and left. Luckily they didn't seem to object. So my little tuktuk driver drove me back into town and dropped me off, without asking for any money. I did give him the baht equivalent of $5.00
So that is another side of the sex industry over there. Pussy is cheap. Life is cheaper.

Pattaya is more Thai but cheap and homely.
I like both. Have been there several times and always had good experiences, memories and new friends.

I had a question regarding women in Thailand as I'm planning on venturing there some time in 2019.
Ladyboys: Is this really that big of an issue there? What percentage of "women" are ladyboys?

I just got back from Bangkok about two months ago and was there for about a month. It's amazing there. The only thing that got me tired easily was walking around in the heat during the day time under the strong sun light. However, I only go to the well established massage palours around Ratchada Road and Rama 9 Road where their buildings are about the size of big office buildings LOL.... However, I walked around in the Soi Kow Sarn near the Democracy Monument and the scene there was just mind blowing. Hua Hin and Pattaya are also just amazing there. Thailand is very safe country to hobby in there.
