I would like to take this opportunity to dispel the negative perception some members of the board have about EC/Cachet.

For the record, I did have one bad experience a few years ago. However, things change over time, and Cachet has changed for the better.

I received a PM from Danny a few days ago, who went out of his way to make ammends for the poor service I received, even though it was back in 2001. He made me an offer I could not refuse; needless to say, I am very pleased with how everything turned out, and I have no compunctions about putting EC back on my list of Toronto contacts once again.

Danny has demonstrated a sincere attempt to win back past clients through a commitment to customer service/satisfaction.

I believe it is a lesson learned. Do not hesitate to contact an agency directly if you have genuine complaints/grievances. You may be pleasantly surprised at the outcome. I know I was. :)

I have badmouthed EC/Cachet on this board as much as the next person, and I certainly do not use them as much as I used to, but I have noticed they are trying hard to improve their customer service. I have never had anything but good things to say about their phone staff. Dina, Amber, Julie and so on, have always been great to me.

They have a lot of girls and probably a more complex operation than most agencies. Lots of girls and more bookings equals more chance for an individual girl to flake and a botched booking to occur. If they keep providing us with great girls though, who are reliable even 80% of the time, they will be doing fine by me.

For me, it's always been a question of their pricing policy. They charge $50-$100 more than anyone else. So why shop there?

Oh, and they weren't so customer-friendly a couple of years ago when they had a far larger share of the customer market. With hard times and a fading market share comes a slightly friendlier set of policies.

Re the receptionists and the girls: by and large I've been pretty pleased. I do a lot of research before I buy, so I've always avoided the duds. And EC DO take care of the girls. The girls have far better facilities at EC than at any other agency I know.

I think oagre and I have disagreed a bit on this point in the past. I've never begrudged EC/Cachet for their pricing, as it is every business' prerogative to set their pricing strategy. But it is Marketing 101 that premium pricing needs to be accompanied by a premium product/experience, whether it be a Lexus automobile, Godiva chocolates, or a Cachet girl. And as far as I was concerned, their end product rarely justified the premium price, and it got to be comical when so many good to average girls got elevated to Cachet. I think they have some good talent in the $250 range, however, so I'd love it if they could just keep it going and ratchet up the client service a bit. Oh, and bring back Erika!

I have had good experiences overall w/EC. Then again, I mainly see ladies w/positive reviews since I will admit that there is more "hit-or-miss" with EC than say... Allison's.

I have to add my two bits about EC. A few years ago, I had a girl named Julie from EC. What a shocker she was! Very limited menu. No BJ, not even CBJ. Called EC again last summer. EC called to cancel the appointment 10 minutes before the scheduled appointment because the SP was offered multiple hours from the client she was with. EC offered a much more expensive SP. I insisted on a SP from a similar price range. The phone operator said she would have to call back. She never did.

They seem to be very hit-and-miss, but inconsistency is NOT an admirable trait in an Escort Agency, and it is the primary reason that I have never (and will never) use them.

With other stellar agencies in the area (Select, Hollywood, Allisons) there isnt a need to roll the dice with higher priced and less predictable service....... at least IMHO,

Just to Clarify...

EC is now under new management. Although EC has had problems in the past, Danny is now at the helm and under his guidance EC is well on its way to joining the league of Select, VIP, Allison's and Hollywood.

In fact, Danny went out of his way to compensate me for a previous bad experience a few years ago. Don't be so quick to judge... give Danny a chance to prove himself.

Okay, since this thread has floated back up to the top page, let me recount a couple of experiences with EC/Cachet which just reinforce how inconsistent and frustrating they can be from a service standpoint.

About two weeks ago, I made an appointment with Raya. Since I was travelling into TO, I made it a couple of days in advance. The appointment went off perfectly. Raya was right on time, and she was delightful. The next night, I made an appointment at about 8pm for Jessica for 12:30am. At 12:25am, I received a call. Jessica was not coming, and in fact, they had not been able to reach her all night. My initial reaction was, if you have not been able to reach her all night, why am I just hearing about this now? The phone girl apologized and offered me a couple of options of other girls who were available. None sounded too appealing, so I called elsewhere, and was lucky enough to find a good alternative.

About a week ago, EC/Cachet flawlessly handled an advance appointment I made for Winter. No complaints, and Winter was awesome as always. I booked Cameron for the next night, and all seemed well. I got a call early that next evening letting me know Cameron would be 1/2 hour late. A little later, I got a call telling me Cameron would an additional hour late. I really like Cameron, so I agree to the new time. Literally five minutes before she is scheduled to arrive, I get another call. Cameron is not coming, she had to go home. Now, I am an understanding guy, and I was willing to believe Cameron had a legitimate reason for missing this call, but again, why am I not hearing about this until 5 minutes before the appointment? Once again, the phone girl apologized and offered some other options, none of which were as good as Cameron imo, so once again, I went elsewhere, and again, was lucky enough to find a good alternative.

There are legitimate reasons for calls to get fouled up. I have no issue with that. But what I do have an issue with is not being informed in a timely manner that a call is not going to happen. If a call is not going to happen, give me some advance notice so that I can make some other arrangements. I almost feel like the attitude is, if so and so can't make it, we'll just convince Mr. Hobbyist to take another one of our girls. So let's wait until the last minute, when he is good and horny, and he will be desperate enough to take anyone we suggest.

As I said before, I really like some of EC's girls, but I really wish they would get the service thing down a little better.

Point proven..... I dont know Danny, never met Danny, and I certainly wish Danny nothing but success with his business. BUT, there is a recurring theme with EC/Cachet regarding consistency and service.

Especially at the $300-$400 price tier, the customer has the right to expect a substantially greater level of service (looks, attitude, peformance, menu items) compared to the more common $200-$250 price range providers.

If he ever gets both the talent AND the consistent service working at the same time, then I agree that his agencies will be the best in the area.
