Sequel or prequel- total time and money waste

I am kind of fan of sci fi, horror, thriller, kind of movie watcher.
Alien franchise being one of my favourite so far in sci fi genre. I started to believe there is no creativity and innovation left anymore. They are just making squeal or prequel to waste our time and money. I mean seeing a facehugger or chest buster was kind of thing itself. What a creativity. Totally mind boggling

The recent Romulus movie is another shit show. The only fact changed in movie is the size of facehugger dick and a visual of how the girl had no gag reflex.

I think I will stop expecting more from such cult movies.

Prequels are nothing but money grabs by the Studios..they see how good a movie is/was..and know they got nothing going forward...so....let's see how much money we can make by going backwards
