I wager a piece of pie, an ounce of green putty I found in my navel this morning and a slightly used, slightly stained feather boa.

You forgot a slightly beaten moderators hat.

Will be a tough go for the Leafs with no Sundin, Mogilny, Nolan, Kaberle. the Sens should walk al over us, yet the Buds sem to thrive on adversity.

Apparently Kyle Wellwood has been called up from the rock. I hope to see him on a line with Stajan. Apparently they gel and were linemates at last years WJC.
Shouldn't be tough as Ottawa also has players out of the line up; Varada, Volkenchov, Fisher, Pothier ( 2 starting forwards and 2 starting defensemen. Sens have called Josh Langford up from the farm.

No wimpy way out of this one!

Those Ottawa injuries are Third and Fourth Liners. The Leafs without Sundin and Mogilny is like the Sens without Alfredsson and Hossa.

My prediction is a tie with Ottawa tying it late in the game on a power play after a lame call from the refs.

You would be suprised to find how valuable starting defencemen are in the NHL nowadays. Especially when you are missing 3 and 4 line grinders from your checking line!

Big deal with Sundin, it's just one game. Ottawa just played two games without Havlat who is the equal to Mogilny. Nope, you have no reason to whine!

OK THEN!

Toronto 4 Ottawa 2. I'm not sure I have anything to put up for this bet Goober. If I can find it I will put up a piece of paper with a phone number I got for a girl the other night.

If......I can find it.

Prusek will be starting for Ottawa tonight. Lalime is still suffering from a bad back!

okay Ottawa's injuries dont compare to the Leafs injury woes...Pothier is a 7th d-man, Volchenkov not that much of an impact...Varada/Fisher hardly impact players...when it all boils down, you need goals, which none of the above guys do regularly...therefore its a lot easier to compensate for the loss of those guys compared to Sundin, Mogilny, Nolan etc...

as much as I want to see the Leafs win, I see a 3-1 victory for the Sens...

in a house...somewhere....i think
Hey guys...remember during the playoffs and the leafs pulled farmguys up...and they umm did better than they were with the 1st line?
I've learned to never underestimate this team. However for me, it's just about seeing the cup come back to Canada (dre-e-e-eam...dream dream dree-eam)

So I guess that Tucker, Domi and Roberts are impact players for the leafs right?

It is a team sport and when you have any starting players out of the line up include Lalime now...that has an impact on any team.
