Why is that I feel there is a lot of Crying on the Board Lately?
This is not a Crybaby center, it's a Discussion Board.

*I decided to Post this after a Thread posted in the Escort Section by a new Member, a senior Member said he liked the Girl but that he was seeing the Review as a Shill (which is also my opinion) and there started the war saying that Seniors are here to Slash Juniors*

If you post something publicly on the Board, don't expect to have EVERYONE rooting for you...This is not an issue of Senior or Newbie, this is more a Matter of people and opinion.

I am a Senior Member (600+) (I think you get that status after 20 posts or something) and yet am not even 30 years old.....Some of us have less than 20 posts and yet are over 50 (therefore probably more experienced)...Number of posts do NOT mean my opinion more valuable than anyone else's, it's Just MY Opinion.

Concentrate on Having fun and benefit from Loads of Good Advices and Reviews on this Board instead of complaining because of this and that.

Now you don't need to reply to this post, and I am not looking for Cheerful or Flaming Answers (actually I don't care), just sharing my opinion to Whomever wants to listen.

Get lost you pre-700 post neophyite. What do you know? :)

I think lately we have had a small burst of shitkickers and shills that have contributed a lot to what you are talking about.

The age/experience debate is something intresting though. I probably got a lot of my MP going experience when I was 20ish. I went to every place I could find then. It was before I learned what made a place a keeper and it was even before I knew such places existed in my own home town. Oh how poor I would be if I knew then what I know now.

Let me let you in on a secret. Any place with a garish neon open sign in another wise empty window is an MP. Go on in and ask for some fun. Sure sometimes it may look like a salon. Sure you may occasionally get stabbed with feathering shears but the ohh the hidden gems you will find. LOL.

Here
Sheik is the only one I know who can "take a break" from TERB and still outpost every other member. I'm sure even after his death he will somehow fulfill his "5 post minimum" each month. :D

The sad truth is... if you have more than 700 posts per year (about
2 posts per day), then you fall into one of the following catagories.

1) You spend 100K per year on this Hobby, and you actually have
two reviews per day to write about.

2) You use this board as a chatroom.

3) You're a Drama Queen, you have no life, and the only other
thing you find exciting in life (other than being on TERB), is
watching Jerry Springer!

No doubt, Nic ... newbies to TERB , doesn't mean newbies to life ... contrary to popular belief, TERB is not life ...

I often get this feeling that there are many wise lurkers out there, just sitting back and basking in zen ...

Zen asses?

So an ancient once said, "Accept the anxieties and difficulties of this life". Don't expect your practice to be clear of obstacles. Without hindrances the mind that seeks enlightenment may be burnt out. So an ancient once said, "Attain deliverance in disturbances".
--Zen Master Kyong Ho [ 1849-1912]

The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both.

Nic, you raise some valid points. The bottom line - as you suggested - is that folks shoud have fun with and benefit from this "asylum"! As I pointed out in another thread - newcomers shoud try not to take too personally - good natured needling or newbie hazing.
