Apparently full self-driving Tesla's still have trouble with level train crossings. If no human to slam the brakes, goodbye Tesla sooner or later...

I was working in Australia 99-03.
And they had automated trains back then
Running from inland coal fields to the coast.

Yes, not as complex as road interactions.
But potential for a whole lot bigger mess, if automated things go wrong.

Do you know the turns and difficult backing up situations truck drivers get into. How can a driverless truck navigate that. We'll never see it.

No more turban suburbans

Clickbait overhyped BS. Just because the tech exists does NOT mean anything. It's been around for a decade. Tesla proved it. HOWEVER... all levels of gov't have to co-operate. Infrastructure needs to be built. And we all know how fast that works! Insurance. who's gonna be first to take on the risk? What's hilarious is we used to have tech that would move hundreds of containers at once by ONE driver. They were called TRAINS! But the people in power decided against those.

What will all the truck stop hookers do? lol
Too HELL with the truck stop hookers if this goes through, what are you going to do with all those unemployed Brampton truck drivers and not to mention it would put a dent in the economy with all that cocaine not being shipped from the states to Canada!

Cocaine could still be loaded onto a driverless truck but when it is found at the border there will be no driver to charge. When a driverless truck arrives at the border there will be no driver to question. Might put some customs officers out of work.
