I wouldn't say police are out in full force, many of them are off sick or in quarantine I heard roughly 500, that trend is going to continue right into all essential services staff, shipping staff for groceries, supermarket workers, drug stores the list is a mile long, police, fire, ambulances, hydro, water, gas things are not looking good, some people are senseless, thoughtless, still galavanting around in public venues or partaking in activities that make matters worse by spreading the virus just look at Leolist. Leolist is your most accurate barometer for social indifference and behavior, it is clearly indicating there are more important things for people to attain than meeting the requirements for social distancing and preventing the spread of this virus.
This is a vacation right now compared to where we will be in 6 to 8 weeks you better have your shit together and be prepared to be essentially off-grid for some time because this virus does not give a shit about you and your priorities or the things that to each of us are necessities. The longer this goes on the more fucked each of us is if we have some kind of emergency, imagine being in New York and you have just broken your leg sick people are lined up around the hospital and down the street. YOU ARE FUCKED, you are not a priority.
You are in a car crash and severely injured there is no ambulance coming for an hour because half the paramedics are sick etc etc. Everyone trying to do their best now deserves a pat on the back for minimizing the spread and duration of this issue, the selfish and indifferent will in no small part be responsible for the death toll being higher and the duration being longer. Their short term gain will be long term pain for everyone.
