Suncor is testing driverless haulers at their oil sands projects. The union isn't happy as at some point in time the drivers will lose their jobs.

Driverless trucks, driverless cars. The future is going to be cool. But I don't think we'll see complete autonomous trucks for a long time. Maybe in 5 years, truckers could take a nap while their truck barrels down the highway, but once they get into a city, they'll need to take over.
