Seeking maid / cleaner....

No - not for sex...lol

Anyone have any experience with molly maid or the like? I am thinking of having someone come in maybe once a week or every other week for some cleaning - dusting, vaccume, clean bathroom etc...

Thoughts...?

what part of the city are you in ??? I have a girl that I use in Mississauga and she does an amazing job.

I have a wonderful cleaner who leaves my place spotless. She is in the west end. Oh .. and plays for the other team so no worries about mixing business with pleasure. (Recall the Seinfeld episode where she kept taking the $ but stopped providing cleaning services?)

I believe in supporting the underground economy in this area. Why pay Molly Maid when the $ can go directly in her pocket?

I've been doing some research among independents (cleaners not sps or mpas) and have been quoted on average $18/hr. These were people recommended to me. I haven't found a local agency as yet, the Toronto names I brought with me didn't go this far North.

I suggest taking a few trails with the different recommendations as well. I found that some people don't clean to the standard you like or treat your items so-so. I always make sure I am there for the first few times and also to see if they use your supplies/equipment or bring their own. I stayed away from the molly maids and look for independent cleaners.
