Secret Diary of A Call Girl (ITV Series)

Just putting the word out: Secret Diary of A Call Girl is absolutely brilliant. It stars Billie Piper and airs on ITV in Britain. Easily downloadable via BitTorrent here.

From my perspective it is a pretty well executed depiction of a call girl's life. Each episode handles a particular aspect of the business.... the creepy client, doing an S&M session, doing a duo with another girl, etc. It also handles the challenges of a friend becoming aware that someone is an SP.

Did I mention it stars BILLIE PIPER?

If any SPs on this board have seen it, I would love to know what they think.

Great show - only saw one season of it and hope there are more to come. Having been involved with so many SP's over the years and getting their viewpoint of what the life is like I can tell you that even though it is homogenized for TV the show really does account for the down low - I especially liked the show where she did an overnight with her regular client - it was a little far fetched but accept for the part about double dipping what she went through to get through the night is right on the money. So if you know if any new shows are on TV or torrents please let me know.

I don't mind the show sure it has it's glamorized point of view but some of the stuff rings true as well.

It's entertainment and doesn't claim to be more than that.

Billie lost about 10-15lbs from her days on Doctor Who, personally I think she was way hotter with the extra weight.

Ah...Secret Diary of a Call girl..

I remember passing across Belle du Jour's journal on blogger before "she" was signed to release "her" into for a show...I actually liked "her" journal - although at times it seemed a little far fetched at times. Belle's journal paired with College Call girl were all that it really took for me to feel more comfortable with the thought of SPing. ^_^ (I was reading them before I started! Ah..research, research, research! I remember that phase!) I really liked their writing styles...until Belle decided to go public with the show.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! I hate that show. Wish it were never on. Have nothing else to say about it. The main character isn't pug-fugly...I actually like it that way - at least you don't have a supermodel playing a tame and normal SP. That would piss me off! lol...

so, my guess is that it does glamourize the industry from what I read in how my wife has a new 'interesting' career thought. but, I can't blame my wife- she's a high-energy goal getter that has assumed the role of a trophy wife. can't blame her for getting bored with the same ole, same old...

but, from the escorts that have chimed in on this thread and sent me pm's, it sounds like the storyline holds more truth to the inside of the industry than we 'custies' would ever know.

'custies' - a term i hear when girls talk about when referring to their clients... ie customers.
