Seattle Strip Clubs -- in harsh light

My daughter, who currently lives in Seattle, has been keeping me apprised of the law changes affecting Seattle strip clubs. Among the most ridiculous is a law requiring lighting in strip clubs to be something similar to what you'd find in grocery store.

...strip clubs in the Seattle area have been "under seige" for years...

The first time (years ago...maybe even as many as ten at this point) I went out with a friend to a Seattle area SC I had a pretty good time, with mileage that was a little less than what is typical here in the GTA now, but was certainly more than what you could expect in most bars in the U.S.

My last trip a couple years ago I stopped at a club on the way to the airport. Learned that I could not tip the girl on stage (no touching), and when I asked for a private dance, she pulled over a chair and performed a "pink peek-a-boo" from "4 feet away"...again, no touching.

The girl said the rules were KILLING business....

When i lived in Vancouver we use to go down to Seattle to see a Seahawks/Mariners/Sonics game and we once went into a SC and were blown away at how lame they were. Topless only from what found, hugely expensive and nothing interactive at all. Vancouver sucks compared to TO of course when it comes to SC;s but my god Seattle was brutal!

It's funny how Seattle Strip Clubs are lame yet under attack from the government, yet Oregon makes live sex shows legal.
