That's interesting... never heard about letting out 15 psi ... that's about half the air. I always find my tires have lost some air pressure after being stored... I always figured that was due to there being no weight on them.. keeping pressure on the rim seals. I have a full size spare in the trunk... and it's always low when I check it every 6 months. I always carry an air compressor and tire impacted power wrench just in case I need to change a flat ... the jack and tire-iron that comes with cars these days is a totally joke if you really have to change a tire.
