UT, York, Seneca, Ryerson, Mac... but just no buses for anyone with TDSB/TCSB aged-children.
I don't know if it's the same now but back when I was in high school they told us first day that they wouldn't close the school for snow because they would lose funding $. They also said that if the buses were cancelled to not bother coming in, but that may have been due to the fact that about 95% of the scool came by bus. :)

Maybe there was a different funding formula back then (based on teaching hours/days). Last I checked, it was based on enrolment; with modifiers).

Am I the only one that thinks it's just like UT to have the St George campus open with every other one closed?

No, you definitely are not the only one who thinks so -- I know from personal experience! In fact, during the history of UT, I don't think the St. George campus has ever been closed.

I suppose that because the St. George campus is accessible by subway (and that a sizable number of students live on campus or live within walking distance -- i.e. don't drive to school) UT probably felt justified in keeping it open.

I feel bad for their support staff who are driving in.

Could it be that University students can take care of themselves at home by themselves and little kids can't?

I spent 4 winters trying to figure this one out. What is the point is 'officially' keeping the campus open if half the classes are cancelled because the prof.'s don't show? Then again, its UofT, you could write a fairly large book with things they do which don't make any sense.
