Schedule Updated and Good News

Hi Everyone!

So here I sit, recouperating nicely from what is turning out to be an expensive accident (any of you who own a Harley can attest to how pricey it is to do ANYTHING with these bikes). I'm feeling better, had some xrays today, and I'll be back to work next week. So, on that note, follow the link to my updated schedule. Oh, and if any of you has a beat-up old motorcycle (still in working order and street legal) that you might like to lend me to practice on while my Harley is getting fixed, I'd be forever grateful. :)

Kisses,

Barbara

WOW you really are silly and a bit too naive if you ask me.......You should have gotten an old beater of a Honda or Suzuki for under a $1500 in the Bike Trader and practiced with it first. For a first timer a Harley is not a good idea.
Once you finally get enough exprience handling and mastering a bike you go out and use the Harley. At least if you crashed or roughed up the old bike a few times you would not really be that worried about fixing it.
Now you ve a broken a Harley that needs expensive fixing and you almost lost your life!! I bet your insurance is jumping thru the roof too!!
Live and learn they say........

Oh leaver her alone! She had a booboo on a great ride. As long as she is safe. Besides she promised me a ride! Nothin like a chick with a hog.

No so, actually. To get the bike back on the road isn't that much, and the rest is just cosmetic stuff. I'm not putting it through my insurance, and my boyfriend is paying for the whole thing (thank God for sugar daddies!) It's not a case of the bike being too big for me (I've had it lowered and modified for a shorter rider). Its a case of me making a mistake that could have been deadly on a bike of any size. And I like living by the "go big or go home" mantra. :)

Really good to hear your safe though. Many who drop their rides aren't. This is a bad city for 2 wheels...

Ok nevermind the link to the bike picture. It's an '07 Road King Classic if you are really interested. And I did a little more than 'drop' my ride...but everyone drops it at least once. And I had my accident in Toronto, in a nice big parking lot. I learned the hard way that Harleys are not meant to go 'off-road'.
