Never been to club alpha before, but was wondering are scents a concern?
And if so, what do you guys do about it?

I've found the scents to be neutral, at least in the west end location. No scented shower products, either.
Downtown location has always had a very pleasant smell. Maybe I just associate it with getting off though. Went to the West location recently and as tipsyalt said very neutral. Didn't smell anything, good or bad. If you have scent issues it would probably be more a case of a girl wearing perfume that could cause it.

I was west today, I didn't notice anything, but then I'm not sensitive in that area.

Do you mean scents on yourself, like BO or cologne?
Scents on the lady, like strong perfumes or lotions?
Or if the building smells strongly (good or bad)?

I find that no matter what, the massage oil has a distinct scent that’s hard to wash off (water and oil don’t mix). For those with a very smell- sensitive SO, be careful.
If you’re anxious about scents, I recommend buying your own soap (whatever brand you normally use at home) and bring it with you to your session. This way you’ll leave smelling like you normally would. Just remember to wash your face and hair, especially if you have a beard. Those scents stay locked in there.
And remember not to kiss/hug your MA on the way out if you want to remain scent free.
Also ask the MA/SP not to wear any perfume or strong scents for your session, some will understand and be very accommodating.
