I read the story, but can't tell if they just went in shooting or what. I mean, you'd think the cops would have made up some plausible reason for blowing the guy away other than "He looked like a bad guy we've been lookin' for..."

Hope they had the right guy and didnt plant the "right weapon" on him after the fact. It's important to catch the right man but there's nothing definitive that links this 'possible burglar' to their 'belief' that he is the killer. The whole things reads very 'Guy Paul Morin-esque'
