Not only they will not establish no-fly zone over Ukraine or put actual American solders on the ground, the even did not include Sberbank in the list of banks they cut from SWIFT because they need it to pay for Russian oil and gas that finances Putin's war. The moment the Soviets get shot at by anyone except a Ukrainian, Putin wil know he is supremely fucked. A cornered rat-face like Putin may very well use the nuclear option. Is that the consequences you want Biden to risk ? Poland has already sold/given Ukraine a dozen Migs. I wouldn't doubt that there are Ukrainian pilots taking A-10 Warthog lessons somewhere right now. Maybe a few surplus Warthogs get sold to Ukraine along with 40 km of 30mm depleted uranium?
And Europe cannot survive the winter without Russian gas. Should those people freeze in the dark?

It is not about Biden. It started in 2003 with Yukos (remember this company?) and Khodorkovskiy (remember him?), so, all 4 presidents: Bush Jr., Obama, Trump, and Biden are to blame. No matter Republican or Democrat, they cared about short-run benefits only. Look where it led. This war did not come out of nowhere: Putin showed signed of a dictator for 18 years now. Obama let him get away with the Crimea. So, what next? Do you really believe Putin gives a shit about the economy? He will have enough money for military, everything else - he does not care much.
