I guess they try to make him likeable , easy going down to earth and takes things as it comes.

But you're right most movie stars are more "look at me, all about me" . I still like the show though, but alot of the reruns on tv are dubbed, swearing taken out like the sopranos on A & E.

The guy who plays Eric ("E") can be a bit annoying at times.

The best character is Ari Gold. Also good are Turtle, Drama, and Ari's assistant, Lloyd.
